Plugin handling
What are plugins
Plugins are parts of Proteios SE that are run as jobs in the job queue. They can be integral parts of Proteios SE or be optionally installed in extension packages (see Extension installation).
Installing and configuring plugin availability
Plugins are automatically detected and installed once an administrator logs into Proteios and lists the available plugins. Plugin access can then be edited by the administrator.
- Login as administrator.
Usually as root.
- Select
View -> Plugins
to activate all available plugins.
This will install all available plugins. Plugins that have previously been inactivated will remain inactivated.
- Check the checkbox of a plugin and select
Delete
to inactivate the plugin.
The plugin will now be invisible and not possible to use.
- Check the checkbox of an inactive plugin and select
Restore
to make it active again.
